This month, SEEN is proud to have Debi Trahan! Debi has been in real estate for over 36 years and will be sharing how to navigate the current real estate market. Raised in Houston, Debi has lived in the South Belt area for 40 years, specifically Pearland/Manvel for 27 years.

A licensed realtor since 1986 and 1993 graduate of the Realtor Institute, Debi became Owner/Broker of her own company in 1997 and completed the Texas Realtor Leadership Program in 2012. In 2013 she was certified as an International Property Specialist and is a member of the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals. She is 2007 Past Chair Bay Area PAALS and is a member of the HAR International Advisory Group.

Debi is uniquely qualified to talk about the local real estate market, focusing on dos and don’ts when purchasing or selling property and how your agent should be representing you.

With the rapid growth in the Houston area there are many choices in deciding on a new home. There are numerous new city subdivisions and properties available with acreage for that “country feeling”.

Debi is a SEEN Past President, former Top Ten Candidate and past Woman of the Year Honoree. She and her husband Randy are very involved in the community, cooking up great meals for good causes and entertaining friends and lots of relatives.

Ann Strouhal, owner of Strouhal & Associates, LLC, is a certified Human Resources consultant who partners with business owners and executives to provide customized solutions for their HR infrastructure. This includes focusing on compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations by providing HR Audits to determine status of current documents and procedures, in particular Employee Handbooks, Onboarding/Offboarding, Job Descriptions, and updating clients on new regulations such as the latest COVID19 Pandemic. She has extensive HR experience across many industries from manufacturing to retail to “white collar” organizations. Ann is passionate about guiding, recommending, and implementing practices and procedures that align with the company’s mission and goals while enhancing the company’s bottom line. She earned her BBA from Texas A&M University and her MBA from the University of Houston Clear Lake. She is also passionate about ABWA, in particular the South East Express Network (SEEN), and sharing with others all the benefits that membership has to offer.

Ann will be reviewing and guiding attendees through many of the vast and valuable ABWA benefits that are available via the organization’s web platform called Community Connections and the online classroom Apex Campus. She is currently the VP Marketing/PR for SEEN and is actively involved in her business community as the 2021 Chair of the Board of the Pearland Chamber of Commerce.

Pearl K. Cajoles is the External Affairs and Workforce Development Manager for the City of Houston Office of Business Opportunity

May 13, 2021

Prior to Pearl coming to the City of Houston she was with the University of Houston, where she served as digital marketing manager for the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management. In this role, she led marketing and communications projects, and helped increase the college’s reach as community and media liaison.

Pearl also spent seven years at the Houston Chronicle, where she began her tenure as writer and editor for neighborhood news, and later for the advertising publications and marketing departments. Pearl’s experience also includes operations management in business process outsourcing (BPO).

For three years, she led the international expansion of the editorial and copywriting department for AffinityX, a marketing services agency with offices in Asia and North America. Pearl holds a BA in Communication from the University of St. Thomas.
